Line Manager Approval

Your company may have set up Line manager Approval on your account, meaning any business mileage logged on your TMC account will require approval from the assigned Line manager.


If this is applicable for you, you will have some extra functions at the bottom of your trip entry page. Please click Mileage Entry > Choose Action on the open period> Add/View Mileage and then on the banner 'Click here to view trips currently entered. 


Please then scroll to the bottom and click on 'Submit and Close off'. 


If the submit and close off button is not on your trip entry page, please press Return to summary > Choose Action > Submit and close off


If you have a trip that is outstanding and needs to be submitted, it will have a clock symbol next to it. Once submitted, this will change to a Timer, and once approved by your line manager, this will show as a Green tick. 


If your Line manager has not approved your mileage on time, this will roll into the next period. Please remind them to approve this for you so that it can be processed. TMC is not able to contact your company on your behalf to amend this. 



If your Line manager is incorrect, you can update this by speaking with your company directly. Once updated, your trips will assign to the new manager to be approved.
