Closing Off

If you have logged all your business trips, to complete your claim, you will need to update your odometer reading and close the month.


If you have no business miles to claim, you will need to complete a nil return, following this guide.


You can do this either from the Home Screen, once signed into your account, under 'Account Details' Update Odometer & Close Off'.

Or, by going to the trip summary page, and clicking 'Choose Action', then 'Close off month'.



You'll then be taken to a screen where you need to enter your closing odometer reading. Once entered, click 'Continue'.




On the next screen, you'll be shown your total miles for the month, split between business and private.  It will then ask you to confirm that you agree with this amount; press "continue close off" to finish the closing process. If you press cancel at this stage, it will not close off with an odometer reading. 





Once you've clicked 'Continue close off', the system will confirm that the period has been closed successfully.
