Trip Favourites
If you regularly do a trip to/from the same location, that is considered business mileage, you can save this trip as a favourite for easy logging.
Please review Can I Claim Commute Mileage to confirm if you can claim the trip as business mileage.
From the Trip Entry screen, once you have entered the details for your trip on the trip entry form, click save.
Once saved, under 'Click here to view trips currently entered' towards the bottom of the page, click 'Choose Action' next to the recently saved trip.
Under 'Choose Action', click 'Save as favourite'
You'll be asked to name the favourite.
Once done, click 'Save'.
Next time you log a trip, you can use the dropdown above the trip entry form, titled 'Favourites', and select the saved trip to auto populate the form.
Don't forget to update the date and vehicle registration of the trip.
If you need to remove a favourite, select it from the dropdown, then, to the right of the dropdown, click 'Remove Favourite'.
Postcode Favourites
If you regularly use the same postcode, and need a quick way to reference it on your forms, you can enter postcode favourites.
At the top of the trip entry form, under Postcode Favourites, click 'Add a Postcode'.
On this screen, you can enter the postcode in the 'Postcode' field, and give it a short description or name.
Click 'Save Postcode', when entering trips, you can begin typing the postcode, and the 'From Location' and 'From Postcode' will populate for you.
If you need to remove a favourite, you can click 'Manage Postcode' to archive your favourites no longer in use.
