You may be asked by your company to add an additional driver to your account, this is to check your additional driver is compliant, as per company policy, and to ensure they're covered by the companies insurance.
If asked to add an additional driver, from your account, go to 'My Details', 'Employee Licence & Policy Checks'.
Click 'Add Additional Driver' - you'll be taken to a screen where you must enter the first name, last name and email address of the additional driver.
The email address used cannot be your own and the first name and last name of the additional driver should match the details on their licence.
Once you have entered the additional driver's name and email, click 'Save'. An email will then be sent to your additional driver, asking them to complete a licence check via the link provided.
Additional driver emails can take up to an hour to be sent/received. Please double check the spam and junk folders of your inbox.
Additional Driver emails are valid 24 hours from the time the email was first sent from the system.
If your additional driver's link is invalid due to this time elapsing, please sign into your account, go to 'My Details', 'Employee Licence & Policy Checks', 'Additional Drivers.
On the row with the additional driver you're trying to add to your account, click 'View' on the right hand side:
You'll then have the option to 'Resent Additional Driver Link', underneath the email address field.
Once pressed, a new additional driver email will be queued and sent to the email address provided.
Repeatedly pressing the additional driver link will invalidate the last sent additional driver link, meaning if you continue to press the button, the email you receive may have an invalid link, whilst the next email is generated and reprocessed. Please only press the button once, checking the spam and junk folder of the email address the additional driver link is being sent it.
Once the link has been received, depending on the licence type of your additional driver, they will need to complete either a UK Drivers Licence Check or an International Licence Check.
