Mileage Variance

Modified on Wed, 16 Apr at 2:58 PM

Mileage Variance is an audit ran to review any differences between the mileage entered by you vs the mileage calculated by the system.

When the system identifies a difference in mileage that is deemed outside of tolerance, you must enter a reason for the discrepancy - these reasons are then reviewed and contact is made on your companies behalf for any unsatisfactory reasons.

We may wish to discuss the reason provided if it suggests that there is missing journey information or if the reason does not explain the difference in mileage.

To avoid being contacted, please provide as much detail in your mileage variance reason as possible - as long as a reason would be deemed satisfactory by HMRC, we will not contact you.
