Why do I need to complete a licence check?

We are a third party company working on behalf of your company completing, completing compliance checks to ensure that employees are legally permitted to drive within the UK.

How long will the check take?

It should only take a few minutes for you to enter the information required to complete the licence check.

For UK Licence holders, once you have submitted your details, the DVLA will provide the result of the check within minutes. If a manual check is required, the team have 2 working days to check this.

For international licences checks, once you have submitted your details for the check, the team will review and check the licence within 2 working days.

Why is my licence number not being accepted?

If your driving licence number is not being accepted, please ensure you are only entering the 16 digit licence number. Please do not enter the last 2 numbers adjacent to the licence number on your driving licence

Please note, if you have a Northern Irish Licence, you must complete the international Licence Check rather than the UK Licence Check. Your licence is held through the DVA not the DVLA and therefore requires a different check.

I have received a new licence and need to update this.

If you have received a new licence, following the expiry of your old licence, you can contact the team via our Live Chat, where the team can assist in updating the expiry date on to the system. Alternatively, you can withdraw your licence check and recomplete this with your new details.

How often will I need to complete a licence check?

You will be required to recomplete your DVLA declaration every 3 years. Whilst your licence may not expire after 3 years, you are required to recomplete the mandate, giving your consent for us to continue checking your licence.  Your consent to the check is valid for 3 years from the date of the DVLA declaration or until you cease driving for the company -whichever is sooner.
