Q. How does the card work as there is no magnetic stripe or chip?

A. The charge+ card is an RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) card.  It is a contactless smart card that uses radio waves to transmit data between a card and a reader for identification, access control, and payment purposes.

 

Q. What charge points can I use? 

A. Log in to the Charge+ app to find the nearest available charge points in your area.

 

Q. How to add charge+ card to Tesla app

A. Follow the steps below to add your Charge+ card directly to the Tesla app.

 

  1. Download the Tesla app and create a Tesla account or log in to your existing account
  2. In the Tesla app, go to the menu in the top right corner > select “Charging” > “Manage Payment” > “Add Payment Method” > “Add Charging Card” > select “Easy Charging Quality” > insert the name and the Charge Card number > click “Submit”.
  3. Once submitted, verify the operation in the email sent to you.
  4. Once verified, the charge card will be set as default payment method for charging.
  5. You’re all set! You can now start a charging session with either within the “Charge your EV” section in the Tesla app or if you drive a Tesla vehicle, by simply plugging in your vehicle.
